Off work when do I go back

I've been feeling pretty grotty for past two days, I work Tuesday-Thursday and occasional Saturdays, I rang in sick Tuesday then today message my boss and said I don't think ill be back this week, then I get asked if I'm in on Saturday? I took a covid test last nite and it was faint but positive, I haven't told my boss as i know there views on covid they don't test, and believe its just a cold, tbh i havent felt this rough for a long time and i have underlying health conditions, do I tell them? Or go in on Saturday? I don't want my colleagues to get ill 😪

Just tell them it’s covid and it’s floored you.
It seems to be hitting a lot of people hard this time. If they asked why you tested just tell them it’s because you felt so ill you felt it had to be more than a cold.

It really doesn't matter what their personal views are on Covid.

If you are unwell, you're unwell. It's also very considerate of you to not want to pass it around and that is valid even if they don't appreciate it.

Just tell them it's Covid and that you are very ill with it and can't come in.
