Man shouting and screaming obscenities to his two dd’s, horrible to hear.

I’ve just popped over to my parents house. They live opposite several blocks of flats.

As I was letting myself in I heard a man screaming and shouting. He was excessively loud, sounded incandescent with rage, it really sounded like a fight had broken out.

I walked down my parent’s driveway half expecting to find a couple of men fighting in the street (that is not a common occurrence in our village so would have been surprised) but saw nothing.

However, I could still hear the commotion. I can not articulate enough just how frightening it sounded. I can honestly say that I have never heard anything like it. Every other word was fuck and I heard ‘you fucking cunt’ screamed several times. No other voices, only his.

Then I noticed one of the flat’s had it’s window flung wide open and realised it was all coming from there.

The lady who lives opposite came out of her driveway walking her dogs. I stopped her and asked if she heard the commotion, she replied ‘Oh yes, that’s Darren, he’s always kicking off’.
I know this man has 2 young teen girls (they were at primary school when my two were also there). I said ‘He’s not shouting and swearing at his girls like that is he?’, she replied ‘Oh yes, he’s screams at them all the time!’
I was so shocked at her nonchalance and said ‘God, I hope he’s been reported for that?’ at which she shrugged and said ‘Dunno?’ and walked off.

I can’t stop thinking about this, I have heard him kicking off before but not like this, this was bloody frightening, God only knows what his poor dd’s put up with on a daily basis.
I want to report this. If he is totally innocent then he has nothing to hide. But God, it sounded so so aggressive and violent.

How do I report it anonymously? I live in the area, he is a scary looking man, built like a brick shit house and has 3 massive bully xl dogs. I certainly would not like him knowing it came from me.

Should I mention it to the school? What would you do?

You heard it though- he almost certainly isn’t innocent, unless he was rehearsing for a play or something?
Verbal and emotional abuse is still abuse.

Your post reads like a bingo card. 3 massive XL Bullys indeed.

If you're worried call the police and report.

I would report direct to SS. You don’t even have to give your name.

If you want to report anonymously phone NSPCC for advice and they can take the information.

I have just reported it the NSPCC and have spoken to my child’s year head (I know her) and although she is not these children’s year leader she said she will report it also.
