When I find out what other people jobs are I instantly think I’d like to do it and start Googling how to qualify to do the job, if there are roles available near me and what next steps would be then ultimately lose interest and move on to something else.
Over the past few weeks I’ve looked into, midwifery, journalism, social work, teaching, buying a franchise, starting a business from scratch (with no idea what to ‘business’) vet nurse, marine specialist, lawyer and artisan bread maker.
Worried I might actually be losing my mind.
I am 40 working in a school. I’m off sick with covid this week so more time on my hands than usual but I tend do do this type of thing on a regular basis at least every couple of months or when someone’s job piques my interest.
