I'm talking about the cheapest value own brand. Garlic baguette in any supermarket that's 37p is great. Not tried the bread though.

Ermmmm I just buy Aldi stuff.

I get all my shopping from Aldi but I can only eat their own brands bagels. Cannot eat any other bagels as they all taste so spongy, even the expensive ones!

asda smartprice coleslaw is good

SuperfluousToRequirements · 26/09/2023 22:26

Asda essentials garlic baguette is superior to their higher priced garlic bread.

tesco beans beat heinz and crosse & blackwell hands down

Asda smart price baked beans are my favourite. I think Heinz taste metallic.
Lidl plain mixed nuts
Cheap humous. Any. Have had the Sabra one as a substitute and couldn’t believe anyone would enjoy that.
Tesco cheap sausages are yummy and go sticky in the air fryer.
M and S pitta bread is much better than anyone else’s.

Other than that I cook from scratch of course.

I'm an Aldi shopper and mostly happy without brands, but their bagels are the one thing I really don't rate and I will pay more for the branded ones elsewhere.

Seeing as we’re two completely different people, that’s to be expected

Value/smartprice frozen sweetcorn (never peas!)
