I've been on the housing association list for 8 years now for a 2 bed house.
Been to numerous viewings and everyone ends and straight away online updates to unsuccessful.
Today I had a viewing
Loved the house
Carpets still down and blinds every room
It was a open viewing but as I was there nobody else showed up
Three hours later the online account updated to
"You are being considered on a property subject to current house inspection "
And the property viewed said "we have offered you property.
This was 4.30 pm
Nobody has rang me tho
Would you assume they are going to offer me this house ?

I would assume so, yes. Call them first thing tomorrow to confirm.

So, what happened? I hope you have not updated because you have been too busy choosing your carpets and furniture!

Well nobody rang me but my online account still said "offer made " and I got a pop up that I couldn't bit due to a offer on another property
Rang them and they said they were behind by 2 weeks doing the new home checks and someone would ring me to start the process within two weeks
So obviously I'm a bit anxious but should be okay -I hope

Little update -
They rang to offer me the house
Just doing their current home check next week and should get the keys next Friday
