Is this "normal" for a period at 43? TMI for some possibly.

Started bleeding on 18th Sept. Sporadic for a few days, older darker blood then changing to heavier, fresher blood.

For the past 2 days I've been bleeding super heavily. Woke up at 2am having bled through heaviest flow tampax and a pad. Super bloated from under my boobs to my bits (as opposed to just my lower abdomen when I was younger and on my period). Really painfully bloated. Cramps are so bad I can't stand up straight this morning (with painkillers). Am cutting about the house getting ready for work bent over like quasimodo.

I know there is no one definition of what peri looks like but is this within realms of normality? Am having awful thoughts about ovarian cancer etc (although no weight loss or feeling full quickly).

This is shit 🥺

I had the dark then fresh thing when I was about your age. It was very crampy as well but no bloating. It went away when I moved into a less stressful environment.
