Best armbands/swimming floatation aid for three year old?

We had a vest thing for him but he doesn't like it, and is always trying to take it off, so looking to get something else. So much choice, I'm overwhelmed. Can anyone recommend? He doesn't like anything too bulky that makes him feel too restricted.

Since you’ll be supervising him all the time anyway… I’d just use a noodle. Tie it around him until he’s confident using it under his arms to lean on. Quickest way for him to learn properly.

They aren't recommended at all as they inhibit learning to swim properly so I'd definitely just go for a noodle and supervision.
