Ruined wedding?

Due to get married in 3 weeks. We gave our notice a month ago as it’s all been very last minute. Just realised when doing a clear out of old emails I gave the name of the building we are getting married in incorrectly at our notice appointment. I gave the name as The Old Schoolroom but it should have been The Old School Chapel. The address and date is correct. How much could this affect things?

I haven’t heard from the registrar yet and I’m wondering if this is why?

I'd email now and try and phone in the morning. I'd have thought if they'd already realised there was an issue, they'd have been in touch. If not, surely they can just amend.

I’ve emailed now and I will phone tomorrow first thing. I am praying it will be OK. My parents and my in laws don’t live in the UK so have gone to a lot of expense to come.

They did say they’d contact me closer to the wedding and they haven’t yet. Im now thinking that’s because the Wedding Schedule hasn’t been released properly.

The other problem is the registry office is not great for answering the phone so I’m not convinced I’ll get through to anyone tomorrow.
