Boy cat names that go with Scout?

We got two boy kittens on Tuesday and they are still nameless. At the moment we just refer to them as Thumbs and No-thumbs 🤣

I like the name Scout for Thumbs but I'm not sure about his brother. Not Jem though, people keep suggesting that when I mention Scout and I'm not sure why

A Scout surely has to go with either Jem or Atticus .

No I didn't. I don't like Jem and Atticus is an awful name, even for a cat

See, I like Ernest but I've a friend called Ernest who is an amputee. He's quite sensitive about it and I'm not sure if he'd think I was taking the piss if I named my cat with extra digits the same name as him, when he's lost a whole hand of digits 😬

fair enough if you don’t like the TKAM links, or which there are many above. But it if you call a cat (or child) Scout, then people will assume there is a TKAM link.

Could you call non-thumbs Scout and keep Thumbs as Thumbs, which I think is a great cat name.

My first thought was Cub but someone’s already suggested that. Now I’ve seen the pictures I think he looks like a Sergio.

I think Thumbs is a great name for the thumby one.
