I bought new ankle boots yesterday - normally I end up trying on loads of pairs but these were the first & they’re shiny!!
The sun is shining ☀️☀️☀️
We have a beautiful new hotel quality sheet which stays put!
Hopefully we’re going to get some quotes to revamp the bathroom.
Trying to get Take That/Olly Murs tickets on Fri am. Fingers crossed! And it’s local rather than having to travel up to London or wherever.

some little things I'm looking forward to as the seasons change.... soup with crusty bread and lurpack. Casseroles in the slow cooker, Sunday roasts. Hot chocolate, pumpkin patches, firework displays.snuggling up on the sofa with blankets and throws in the evening to watch tv.

It's a lovely day here. My water heater has been fixed. On the day they said (that was a lovely surprise) and they fixed my toilet flush as well. Thanks guys.
We are having fajitas tonight (one of my faves) and I've lost 5kgs since June (which is absolutely amazing for me).
Tell us more about the boots. I love boots but have dreadful fat calves and ankles so can I please see yours and lust after them?

No sunshine here today but definitely that cool fresh windy day with little spots of rain blowing through. A clearing the cobwebs weather day I call it. Browsing the Christmas threads which is quite enjoyable

Thank you folks! I have a couple of nice long sleeved Autumny dresses so will wear the boots with high denier black tights. And if I can fit into them, I have jeans. So many clothes still in the packaging that I need to try on!

There are absolutely lovely. As you say so sparkly. I love the idea of thick tights with a dress and boots. It's such an autumn winter smart casual look.

Get your other stuff out of the packages and have a good look. If it doesn't die join the 2st off before Christmas thread. And if it does well what joy ahead.
