Vaseline

Hi there

Has anyone had a small cut/anal fissure in pregnancy and have they ever used Vaseline.
I was told by 2 pharmacists that Vaseline is safe, seen the doctor but they were a bit blasé and suggested sudocream or Vaseline. I read Vaseline isn’t the safest in pregnancy.
I just wondered people’s thoughts or experiences?
I am aware of a good finer diet/lactulose est

For my anal fissure I was given a specific cream, but it was bleeding frequently. I think it was GTN cream, had to be prescribed.
