Shoes on sofas and beds

I've noticed that in so many films and series, the characters are sitting on their bed or sofa wearing their shoes. I remember years ago I saw an episode of the Kardashian's and they were doing this too, on a white sofa!! Do you know anyone who does this in real life? It's normally in US shoes I've seen it, but saw it in the new series of Sex Education. It really bothers me when I'm watching a series 😂

They do it all the time in Coronation Street and it drives me mad!

Do they? It seems to be everywhere now. I didn't use to really notice it years ago. I'm sure loads of teenagers are going to start doing this with the amount of Netflix they watch as it's basically in most shows now 😂

It makes me cringe. We don't even wear shoes in the house.

Me too! Although maybe there's a reason, like the set is dusty so they can't walk about in socks/bare feet in the house scenes or health and safety or something? So weird that it seems to be in most programmes and series now.
