Royal Mail Collect

Does anyone know how this works and if so, can you explain, as if to a child.

Ive looked at the Royal Mail Collect site obviously but cant figure out how it actually works, i.e. the steps I need to take in order to sent my parcel.

Its a store return, so has a pre-printed label.

You go on the Royal Mail parcel collect site, fill in the details for your parcel and choose a day for it to be collected. There will be a time given (for me it's usually something like between 8am and 1pm).

Postman knocks, you hand them the parcel and that's it. So so easy. You do have to be home all morning though.

I've done 3 returns this way now and has all gone without a hitch - including one where I didn't have a label - the postie brought the printed label with him and applied it immediately.

The returns instructions said to take it to a Royal Mail collect centre but Google doesnt return any results.

I cant stay home all day either as I work full time.

What a pain. I might just take it to the pist office and ask them.
