Nude tights for wedding?

I am going to a wedding in October and have my dress and shoes all sorted.

I suddenly wondered whether I should wear nude tights? Do people still wear those ? I very rarely wear a dress or go to anything formal! My dress is quite long, so it’s only my lower legs and ankles that will be on show. My legs are quite pale. Otherwise I could have a light spray tan.

I will be in some of the photos so I want to look okay!

Yeah if you want to as long as they are nude and not white! I do but then I haven’t got perfect brown smooth looking legs

For a longish dress i dont think it will be too noticable in photos or in real life so go with what you are most comfortable with. If open toe shoes i would not wear tights.

I do because I'm not keen on my bare legs in dresses at all. Even in the summer I wear snag shorts under dresses.

A spray tan or natural is fine. I totally understand why some wear them to even out skin tone and that kind of thing, but they do look really old fashioned and conservative - like a bare leg on a women is something that should be covered (Kate Middleton's a good example).

I would never go to a formal event bare legged unless I was wearing a maxi. I just don’t think it looks right however good your legs are.

I wouldn't bother on a longer than knee-length hem unless I wanted the extra insulation.

I find tights bunch up round the toes and make wearing heels less comfortable, so would avoid if poss. I don't move in circles that would consider a fake tan necessary.

I agree, I wouldn’t wear tights with open toed shoes but mine are closed so no issue there.

If I had a spray tan, it would not be to fit in, I don’t tend to go for that very tanned look, it’s just that my legs are bluey-white and I would prefer them to look a bit nicer! I would only have a very light colour and only have my legs done. My arms already look a much healthier colour.

I think I will buy some tights today and try them, and if I don’t like them I’ll book a very light spray tan.

I wore some nude tights a few years ago and it just felt so dated and sort of Royal Family. Never have since. You don't really see people wearing them so much now.

I would def go for some sort of leg thing like Viva Liberata Body Blur ( it washes off) or tanning lotion ( doesn't have to be dark )

But agree . Each to their own.

If you think you'll be comfortable in tights wear tights. If you won't then don't. That's the only consideration.

I always found nude fishnets a less old-lady solution.
