Birthday ideas for a teen

Hey all,

It's coming up to teen (13, gonna be 14)'s birthday in a few weeks and i'm looking for ideas for a party - he's football obsessed so looking to incorporate that into a party for him and his friends, anyone got any ideas?

Cheers all

Not football but my (slightly younger) boy has enjoyed lazer quest/air soft type activities. Or mountain biking?

Depending on budget and numbers would a tour of a football stadium work?

Bubbleandsqueak22 · 23/09/2023 07:15

How many does he want to invite?

NotFastButFurious · 23/09/2023 07:22

Stadium tour
match tickets
5 a side pitch hire for a match

Have you got Foot Golf near you?

Bubbleandsqueak22 · 24/09/2023 16:38

Does anyone have a football table you can borrow? If not, you can get some middle-of-the-range tables which don’t cost too much www.argos.co.uk/product/7428908?clickPR=plp:2:9 and host a tournament with prizes. Order in some pizzas and then watch a football film or a match on TV.

Tulipvase · 24/09/2023 18:12

Any big matches coming up that will be on TV? (I know absolutely nothing about football) could they watch a game and you provide food/snacks.

Can he not just have his mates round for pizza and do whatever teenage boys do?

GladTidy20 · 25/09/2023 17:24

Hey all,

Been browsing mumsnet for other ideas and came across https://www.mumsnet.com/talk/am_i_being_unreasonable/4745202-ds-and-mates-playing-football-in-garden - sounds like a really fun activity that ds and his mates can all take part in together, competitively and it'll be really affordable compared to footgolf / a match day

What do we think? Does the activity + some burgers and playstation sound like a decent party for some teenage lads?
