Yesterday I’d been driving for the best part of 4 hours before picking DS up from after school club. I had a banging headache, I was stressed out and on the way out he asked me if I wanted to see a heart he’d drawn on the playground in chalk they’d been playing with. I said no, we don’t have time (needed to pick up DS2 from nursery), but then stopped and said yes please and his little face lit up. I’m proud of myself for saying yes even though I couldn’t have cared less about it at that moment in time.
anyone else? Little things we’ve done when we haven’t wanted to, to make our kids (or someone else!) happy. Come here for acknowledgement that you did a GOOD thing and you should be proud of yourself!
lighthearted so please no vipers here.
