An appreciation thread for little things we’ve done

Yesterday I’d been driving for the best part of 4 hours before picking DS up from after school club. I had a banging headache, I was stressed out and on the way out he asked me if I wanted to see a heart he’d drawn on the playground in chalk they’d been playing with. I said no, we don’t have time (needed to pick up DS2 from nursery), but then stopped and said yes please and his little face lit up. I’m proud of myself for saying yes even though I couldn’t have cared less about it at that moment in time.

anyone else? Little things we’ve done when we haven’t wanted to, to make our kids (or someone else!) happy. Come here for acknowledgement that you did a GOOD thing and you should be proud of yourself!

lighthearted so please no vipers here.

Awww that's so sweet! Thank you for starting this thread

Currently pregnant and the sickness is back in the third trimester. Feels the same as the 1st trimester all over again. DD wanted to get the Encanto Figuirines for her dollhouse as she only has 1 that came with it

I ordered it off Argos and had not been able to get there to pick it up. DD kept asking yesterday so after nursery, we drove up and I regretted it as soon as we got there as I was feeling hot/very nauseas and exhausted but to see her so excited as soon as the guy bought it out from the back, it made me happy. She was announcing it to everyone "look at my Encanto family!" 🤣

Spent the morning problem solving a task all by myself 😊
i pissed off the person who did it before me because I've removed the "bells and whistles" and gone back to basics. Black writing on a white background.

Do I care the person is pissed off? No. Because on Monday I can sale through my morning without being blindsided and distracted by a throwback to clip art and the use of every fucking colour known to man
