after working for an organisation for 20 plus years. if a person becomes disabled to the point that they cannot really work anymore, despite reasonable adjustments; then the person is let go and has to rely on benefits. housing benefit wont pay mortgage, so family home has to be sold and kids relocated into rental house/new schools. this seems very unfair doesn't it. do you think employers should have some responsibilities? why will housing benefit pay the mortgage of a landlord but not a tenant?
