Today is the day! Off to Uni.

It's early I'm already up dressed and eaten and Ds2 and I are driving Dd off to her Uni this morning. it's 2 hours away and we should be there before lunch, unpack hit Tesco and have some lunch and wave goodbye. Not sure it'll be that smooth but that's the plan.
It's all getting a bit real now. Dh and I be an empty nesters, first time in 35 years.
Fingers crossed.

This will be me on Saturday. Youngest of to University, no one to parent in my house for the first time in 32 years. I married my husband when I already had 3 children so it will be the first time we have lived on our own despite being married 21 years!

It's going to be weird for sure. She's up and getting dressed, we'll go pick up her brother from his house on the way.

It's a big, emotional day - hope it goes well.

Just got home, she's text chatting to me since we dropped her off. She sounds happy and went shopping for coat hangers we hadn't brought with us. That tells me she's at least unpacking clothes My quiet time is off I have other grown kids over this weekend
I hope all the other drops offs are going well.
