Bottomless Brunch?

I've been invited along to a 'bottomless brunch' with some very good friends for a birthday celebration. I'm really looking forward to it. But......what happens after the brunch??

We are booked in from midday until 2pm.

Do you just go home and go to sleep? Or do you stay out drinking? I'm very worried about what happens next!

Could you ask the group what their plans are? Say after the brunch is anyone up for a few drinks afterwards and then you can plan accordingly. I’d imagine people will stay out for a few afterwards.

Yeah bottomless brunch should always turn into a full days drinking session.

Well, what will you do if everyone else has other plans afterwards — will you decide not to go?

I wouldn't message the group adding extra plans on to the day. It might be seen as taking over the birthday girls plans. Just go to the brunch and see at the time if people want to stay out afterwards.

I always thought it was bottomless food, not drink. Quite disappointed when I found out otherwise.

Last time I did bottomless brunch we necked as much Prosecco as physically possible and ended up in Central London in numerous bars until midnight.

I go home, have a few cup of teas then sort of sit around on a zombie trance for a couple of hours and then I’m back to normal.

The time tends to fly by on a bottomless brunch so my friends and I have always stayed out afterwards til around 5/6pm. Then home, a bath, a takeaway, sobered up before bedtime and a good night's sleep. I much prefer it to going out in the evening.

It's great it's 2 hours ... around here they've increased the price in most places and reduced it to 1.5 hours.

I'd be asleep after a bb lol.

Ds's gf is a waitress and says she hates serving bottomless brunches!
