I'm just about to do a little bit more beading on part of my Eras Tour outfit, then probably doom scroll & go to bed early ish. I'm tired after being at Lovejoy's gig last night, then seeing my consultant today. Thoroughly enjoyed the concert though, and had a really positive day today, plus amazing fish and chips for lunch on the walk back to the bus stop 😋

Dd1 is tucked up in bed, scrolling tiktok & avoiding moving 🤣 She was at the gig last night then had a full day of college today so is probably as tired as me 💤 She needs to shower too.

Dd2 is chatting away to her friend. They're both exceptionally loud on the phone 🙈

What's going on at yours tonight?

I’ve been to a zumba class whilst DH put the kids to bed. I’ve had a shower and now sat on the sofa with the cats either on my knee or next to me! I might do some cross stitch or I might go to bed early and read. DH is chatting to his dad on the phone. Nice and quiet here!

A new school and new nursery means both the kids have colds, so no nursery for the small today, they’re both in bed with me, so I’m doing a bit of reading so I don’t wake them up. They’re both a bit restless, so when they’re properly asleep I’m hoping I’ll be able to play a bit of zelda on the switch. My husbands away with work, so at least theres more room for us all in bed tonight.

Had a row with DH, so am holed up in my bedroom with a glass of wine watching shit TV!

@Simonjt hopefully they're back on top form soon! How sorted is your home now?

Oh they’ll be on top form tomorrow after a full 12 hours while I’m knackered! Ha, not very! The living room has a pile of plasterboard sheeting and wooden batons in it, our daughters room is the main box dumping ground at the moment. We’ve been sent the wrong sofa, but we had already sold the old sofa, so our sofa is an airbed and a camping chair at the moment 🤣

I was at a conference yesterday and today, with a late night of wine and chats and shots last night so I’m tired!

DP met me at Waitrose on my way home to sort dinner, we had chicken and chorizo rice which always goes down well. Boys are in their rooms making me birthday cards for tomorrow (but I’m not meant to know that!)

DP and I are watching the football on the sofa with a glass of wine - Dog is doing a good rug impression. DP’s doing drawings for the garden room, I’m mumsnetting and yawning - don’t think I’ll last much longer!

I'm lay on the bed as ds will only go to sleep if I'm upstairs. He's fast asleep but I can't seem to drag myself off the bed. Feeling a bit down as dd went to uni on Sunday. She's having a ball but I miss her.

Dd2 is mooching about having a shower. She's off school tomorrow so not in bed yet. She's just done netball training and it takes her a while to calm down afterwards

Ds 1 and 2 are asleep. Dh is downstairs loading the dishwasher if the clattering is anything to go by.

@troppibambini6 it did, thank you. She's sure it's responding well (from exam & how it looks) and is requesting a CT scan to confirm. I'm most chuffed about being able to go back to work after Halloween half term, can't wait to get stuck back in!

Oh crikey @Simonjt , hopefully you at least have the right sofa soon! we still have unpacked boxes after seven years here

I'm watching Harry Potter & the order of the Phoenix whilst my dog sleeps on me so I can't move. DH is on a night out so I had a Chinese for dinner. It's been a good night!

How bizarre! My above comment hidden immediately. Was it because I used a mild swear?

@Ringadinga they usually have a high tolerance for swearing?? Perhaps it was a mistake.

Not much going on here, I've done the bins and late night trip to the supermarket.

Now settling in with a film and a cocktail.

Dinner is all prepared so I’m scrolling whilst flat out on the sofa. DH is napping as been working all day and slept badly No DCs here

All is calm here. DP is reading his new crime novel - he’s suddenly
got really into reading again, after not touching a novel for years - and I’m lolling on the sofa, researching nearby gyms with spas. Am desperate to get in a jacuzzi somehow!
DP’s got Covid and has been feeling pretty rough all day, so he may sleep downstairs so he can toss and turn without worrying about disturbing me.

My teen dc's have just gone to bed. I am thinking about going to bed to read.
But I am enjoying listening to the rain hammering down intensified as the window is wide open.

Just finished watching the Brighton match, I was also doing diamond painting at the same time. Now I’m in bed, ch3cking mumsnet, about to play my game and then read some fanfiction. Everyone else is in bed. Pretty boring right now.

@RoseMartha there's something magical about being indoors and listening to it

I only said arse and it was a very dull post, so dull I can't be arsed to re write it! It just got hidden immediately.
