Haven Hideaway - can kids still use the parks on site?

Just as above really. I understand we can't use the entertainment facilities like activities or kids clubs but just wondering if we could still play in the park on the caravan site, if anyone knows?

Can at Hafan Y Mor yes so assume all sites the same.

BeastOfBODMAS · 21/09/2023 19:28

Yes they’re just parks, there’s no one going round checking if you’ve got the cardboard passes !

dawnc27 · 21/09/2023 19:28

yes, can use parks, still book paid for activities like bungees. use arcades and food places and sports bar if there is one

LonelyFlans · 21/09/2023 19:35

We went to the Cleethorpes Haven and you had to show a pass to get into the entertainment part, which included the playground.

which haven is it? and when? im an owner so can try find out the lay out and what you can use with out the passes

Invisimamma · 21/09/2023 19:41

It depends, at Lakeland you need to go through the entertainment complex to access the main playpark. But at others the play parks are open access for everyone to use regardless.

Freddiefox · 21/09/2023 19:42

I think it depends on how you access it, if you have to go through the entertainment building then no you wouldn’t

Dinnerlady12 · 21/09/2023 19:47

The one I was at during the summer the parks were open to everyone there was no one around checking for passes. No one checked our passes going into the entertainment the full week we were away either!

It would be Haggerston castle

Thanks for info so far. I did think oh it's just a park but it doesn't specifically say yes or no anywhere 😬

Now I've looked up the site map I can see one play area by the main facilities, and two others in different areas of the site. So would we be able to use those two but not the one near the main facilities?

The play park at Haggerston is below the mash and barrel so you wouldn't need a pass. The other play park is near the golf club which again is open to everyone.

You can also access the mash and barrel by going up the steps that have no security, to buy drinks etc and get in the back of the entertainment complex with the arcades and soft play etc.

This is brilliantly helpful. Thank you 🙏

Our kids don't use anything else entertainment wise yet but do like a park.

Any recommendations to what to do/where to visit around Haggerston castle area?

ok, so theres a couple of play areas near the golf course, these are likely to be quite small ones, the main one is near the main bit. you can book bike hire, swan boats, jump and other out door activities with out a pass, not entirely sure about things like the ranger activities, pottery painting etc but i think you can also book those. mash and barrel, tower sports bar and food outlets dont require passes

So helpful. Thank you.

So just to confirm, all parks are probably okay without passes? I was wondering about the boats too so that's great to know
