We have to buy a fairly new car ( due to Ulez!). I don't drive but husband has always had automatics. On test drives he has found the cars all have dct and all seem to surge at low revs. He has tried Nissan Juke, Skoda kamiq and mg hs. As we are running out of options I thought I would ask mumsnetters. Reading online seems to suggest the surge thing is common??
