I always liked this show and it’s nice to see them in college, but I just say I’m not entirely happy with them showing every gay person as extremely camp and flamboyant.

I am enjoying it so far though

Wahooooooo! Off to Netflix I go...!

I must say, I actually feel really sorry for Ruby. In the last season we did get to see the real Ruby but now we really see her and it explains why she acted like she did and I feel really sorry for her

Just finished watching the last episode of season 3 to refresh my memory.

POTENTIAL SPOILERS AHEAD. PROCEED WITH CAUTION

I thought the funeral was done really well. I was horrified with the coffin scene because I genuinely thought they were going to drop it, but after that it turned around. I thought it was really well done.

Only watched the first episode and enjoyed it far more than any of season 3. I found season 3 just had too many characters and I lost track of half of them, I also found some of the humour in S3 a bit childish. I did like lilly and Orla but didn't think there was anywhere else to take their characters.

I couldn't bear cal in the last season. They literally gave them no personality bar being non-binary. And it got boring. Compare it with other characters with alternative identities and sexualities who were actually well developed..but I actually liked them this episode and could sympathise.

I am loving the disability visibility here. Not just those in wheelchairs (which I’ve recently had to resign myself to) but an actual deaf character I can relate to too!

I read there is an asexual charecter now in this season.
How were they portrayed?

Absolutely perfectly normally. They didn’t make it about their identity. Ok it was announced at a bad time, but that was it

Yeah I didn’t like Cal and I still don’t. I mean I’ve got a bit of sympathy for them in this season but I still don’t like that character

Thank you.

Do you mind if ask more questions?

Was asexuality / the character explained that they don’t feel sexual attraction and don’t want / have sex, or was it more: asexuals can and do have sex, kind of way?

Soubriquet · 22/09/2023 11:19

They sort of bring it up but not too much depth. As it stands, it did mention she said she was asexual because she didn’t find people attractive growing up and then went off eventually to say she felt like she was better on her own
