Going to be a SAHP - what to do with time

I'm going to be a SAHP parent for 3 months, maybe longer mainly to help DS (who has SEN) settle into school before we think about wrap-around care. I'm a bit anxious because we are going to live in a tiny village with no amenities.

I'd have to use public transport to get anywhere. It's expensive, probably won't be very reliable and is quite sparse so I have to be very careful if I go into town to leave enough time to get back for school pickup.

Things I've earmarked to do alongside household chores and cooking:

  • Bike rides to other local villages and amenities (gym, library) - not sure how feasible this is yet
  • Local walks and runs - used to be quite active, finding it very hard to start up again
  • Job hunting - aiming to start work again in the new year
  • Intensive driving lessons - I'm late to driving, feeling a lot of anxiety about it. Also DH is using the car to commute to work) so even when I get it I won't be able to use the car during the week
  • Volunteer at the local shop and church (even though I'm not religious) to meet new people
  • Plan fun after school activities for DS

I feel like I've lost all my hobbies and reading habits since I became a mum. Please help me come up with things to do! I'm scared I'm going to be bored out of my mind.
