Wedding gift ideas - anything you received you would recommend
We get married later this year. We have lived together a while and brought our two homes together when we moved in so don't really have a "need" for a lot of things.
We didn't mention gifts on our invites as honestly we don't expect anything and are happy for people just to be at the wedding. We know that some family/friends are kindly giving us some money which we will put aside into savings for now.
However several people are asking us for some gift ideas and my Auntie suggested I go round the house and work out if there is anything we need or that needs replaced and pull together a little list to help those who would like to buy us something (I am uncomfortable doing this but I do understand why some people would like it)
Anyway long story short I have got a small list of some desireables that we would really like (most practical as OH is very practical minded and some more sentimental as I am very sentimental and really treasure things with meaning) and I know that most of them have kindly been bought by family... but I wondered if you have any suggestions/ is there anything that you were perhaps given as a wedding gift that has been a godsend that I would probably not have thought of?
