Ideas for thank you present for mum

I am looking for some ideas please to help me express my thanks to my mum for everything she has done for me since I became a mum.

She is truly one in a million, she has my little boy 3 days a week so I can go back to work, drops everything at the drop of a hat if arrangements change, she is simply amazing and I couldn't have done this first year without her.

It's his first birthday coming up and I want to mark it in some way for her, but everything seems to not quite convey just how much she means to me/us. She's not really into nice meals or spa days, nor clothes/fashion. I would like something a bit more sentimental but the best I can come up with is a letter!

Any ideas would be gratefully received.

Whatever you decide I think you should definitely do a letter too. I'm not sure you can better that idea for being truly meaningful, touching and heartfelt

How about the letter, and also your favourite photo of your mum & baby - or perhaps the first cuddle, or a photo of you, her and baby?

Any btw, I love this idea of marking the first year, it's super special and your mum will love the acknowledgment- although obviously will say it's unnecessary!
