Would you happen to know how long the walls are in relation to the door? Usually boards run in one direction (either relative to the door, or in line with other boards in the house)... so given the boards are 2.4 m long, if your room is slightly less than 2.4 m long, you'd have very little work to do cutting them!

It depends whether you can cut them, though. Assuming you can, 9 is fine, but if you can't then you might want to post the exact measurements (length and width) to get an answer.
