Woo hoo. We have babysitters for three nights in November. I'd like to go somewhere hot and do absolutely bugger all. I'm thinking Canaries? Any suggestions for seriously nice hotels, probably adults only and probably all inclusive?

I went to Gran Spa Arrecife in Lanzarote in June. Was beautiful.

I highly recommend. It was so luxurious. Lovely bar and restaraunt inside on the beach,.close to airport (tranfer was 3 euros but didnt hear a single plane) and walking distance to the nicest pizza place ive ever been.

I missed some commas and spelt things wrong, but yes it was beautiful!

We stayed at the Gloria Palace Royal in Gran Canaria last month and have booked to go again next year. Built into the side of a cliff so panoramic sea views from all areas. Infinity pool, indoor spa, food was so good we didn’t eat out and upgraded to ai. Really spacious rooms, much cheaper to book direct with hotel.
5 minutes to lovely sheltered beach below.

DSis just got back from Melia Hacienda Del Conde. Her pictures looked amazing!

DaisyDreaming · 21/09/2023 08:55

Thanks for asking, I’ve been looking for something too!

DaisyDreaming · 21/09/2023 08:55

My criteria is no fighting over sunbeds and lots of space between sunbeds! Also sunbeds on the beach

DaisyDreaming · 21/09/2023 08:57

How was the sunbed situation? Were there plenty and spaced out?

Tui Blue Suite Princess on Gran Canaria can’t be beaten. Sea views, loads of sun beds, plenty of space in the evenings. If you want something livelier Hotel Neptuno also on Gran Canaria. We just came back and can’t wait to go again. Both are adults only, all inclusive.

Iberostar Bouganville Playa in Adeje, Tenerife. We paid extra for 'star prestige' which included an adults only roof terrace overlooking the sea/sunbeds/drinks.

Not far from airport. The front entrance of hotel is in a bit of a British strip, chicken shop, pubs which made my heart sink when the coach stopped, but the back of the hotel is gorgeous, with a lovely long walk for miles along the seafront, stopping for tapas/cocktails.
