Rotavirus vaccine?

Posting here for traffic!

Had 12 week vaccines for my baby on Monday. She is inconsolable at points still which is unlike her (she can get very upset when hungry but this is different as she’s rejecting her bottle).

She had runny poos for a day after and they’re still a bit runny now and I feel like it’s the rotavirus vaccine that’s causing this as she has also been sick clear fluid rather than milk.

Its horrible and I wonder if anyone else had this happen and how long it will last.

Just to add I’ve been VERY vigilant with washing hands / anything I’ve touched / her changing mat post vaccine.

It will pass don't worry. Lots of cuddles and keep doing what you are doing

Yes rotavirus was tough for my Dc. It will pass. It’s not a nice one

Ds had a few days where his nappies were a bit rough and he was just a bit 'off' wanting to sleep, feed and snuggle more.

I baby wore a lot which settled him and if I thought he wasn't feeling great gave calpol as needed. It only lasted a couple of days then he was back to normal. It doesn't pass but if she's still very off and same symptoms by Friday I'd maybe call the gp just for your own peace of mind going into the weekend.
