I made a few threads about my 16 year old being aggressive/violent. Due some issues I had to change the user name for them threads.
Anyway social services have now closed the case . They say because he's now enrolled on a course and he's going to get help on the domestic violence programme. Plus hes has CAMHS. They feel he's engaging and they are no longer needed. The only thing I'm worried about is he's not actually started the course yet. Or the domestic violence programme. I think they should have let him have a couple sessions first before closing the case.
I did call her and explain my worries. She just said hopefully he will go ahead and do the things that have been put in place she pointed out that other teenagers his age are now starting new courses/college/training so he will hopefully see it as a next step along side other teens. We are just hoping he will engage with the DV programme. She did say even if he does not he may be ok still. I really hope she's right.
