Glazed over look during sex

Just watching the Russell Brand documentary and couldn't help pick up on the victim's observation that Russell would have a glazed look when in a sexual situation- right before he assaulted. I dated someone years ago who I noticed would do that too, only when having sex; like frozen eyes, they looked dilated, wide open, vacant and it felt like he was somewhere else for a minute. It was v bizarre at the time because it felt like someone else was there for a moment. Nothing sinister happened though.

From your experience, have men had a glazed look when having sex? Do men often do this as a way to enjoy the sex more or is this something to be weary of?

I am listening to the documentary now, where the women mention this phenomenon.

They said it felt incredibly frightening, like he was a stranger.

It might be due to drink or drugs- but they only bring out what is there, surely.

No I've never experienced this. Sounds really spooky.

My ex used to get that expression when he was angry and about to become violent. Never saw it during sex thankfully, but it scared the shit out of me, I only saw it once and that was enough, but his friends who were there at the time said it had happened before.

Yes. It happens every time. But I don't think it's a violent thing. I think it's a sexual deviant fantasy thing. It really hurts. I think this because of other things that have happened since the first time we ever hung out on a date. I am so glad I finally found someone asking this question too.
