I've got a child free CP trip coming up with some friends soon at Woburn Forest. I've not been since I was a kid. CP veterans, please share your wisdom and top tips!

Lube?

No, seriously though, get a supermarket shop before you get there. The shop is expensive and not much choice.

Having been there once, my tip would be save your money and go elsewhere.

I’ve only been to Longleat. I’d book into the spa every day.

Negative comments already, marvellous.

It's a great place, not just for kids.

Agree, if you're going to cook order a click and collect from the nearest supermarket and pick up on the way there. If moneys not an issue but you'd rather eat in your Lodge they do those good quality ready meals. Check out local pubs on trip adviser if you're there for more than a weekend.

Stick to early afternoon and late evening swimming to avoid the kids.

The spa is excellent.

Cheaper group activities will be to hire badminton, tennis etc courts. Think you can buy a gym pass for your stay if you're that way inclined.

I think if I was there with my friends I'd mainly like to chill in various places with occasional activities between drinks. It's an easy place for that. I'd love to go without kids!

Supermarket shop before you go

Book your activities well in advance.

Avoid the takeaway / delivery food - it's not great.

Boom restaurants well in advance (they are a bit pricey)

Enjoy.

I've been 3 times and always had a good time. If you are avoiding school holidays it's good value.

Grin

You've been here a while then!

The wine / beer selection is pretty average too, buy before you go

No negatives here otherwise, it's great, enjoy!
