I have asked a man out. A most unsuitable man. Very attractive....and opinionated. Very prone to upsetting people and falling out with people. He has strong principles and gets very upset when others don't meet his standards. I sympathise often, I can see his POV, but he doesn't deal with it well.
Anyway, I messaged him a bit tounge in cheek about something I'd heard that didn't paint him in a very good light. It could have gone horribly wrong, but we had a short, pleasant back and forth resulting in an arrangement to go out at the weekend.
He didn't dither at all when I suggested it. There's something wrong with me, but I'm looking forward to this more than I have to anyone's company in a while. I do love a proper debate/putting the world to rights session. I just hope he copes when I don't agree with him!
