Has anyone been to boarding school?

If you went to boarding school, do you have fond memories?
Do you feel it was a good thing that your parents did for you?

I absolutely loved boarding, it was so much fun and I still reminisce all the time with old school friends about how much I enjoyed it.

Yup. 7 years from age 11. It was the best option given our family situation, but not sure the school chosen was the best one for me. But that was decades ago when life was different.
