I'm 54, I work full time.
I've been going to the gym 3 times a week for 2 months, also a Pilates class on a Monday (one of those ones that's quite full on even if you don't look like you are doing much and I ache the next day).
This weekend I was out on Friday and Saturday and had family round for dinner last night. I did some full on proper gardening, shifting loads of heavy bags, dug a (small) pond on the weekend. And 3 dog walks.
Am I just being lazy to be feeling tired and not want to go to Pilates tonight, I'm knackered, I ache from the gardening, and I've only had one decent night's sleep in the past 3.
I know I'll feel better if I go, but I can't help thinking a night off might invigorate me more for the gym tomorrow.
