Starter UPF avoiding: Inspiring cookbook for better health and weight loss

What a clumsy title, I know, I just don't know how else to say it. Due to the menopause and feeling crap with belly weight gain, I want to start paying more attention to what I eat. I have limited time and patience for this, so I want to get straight to the point with simple ideas that I can execute without breaking the bank and spending countless hours.

I usually have very little patience for following recipes, but I genuinely need some direction here. I am looking for a cookbook that will inspire me with gorgeous photography but also with sensible down to earth information, and ingredients that can be sourced in 'normal' places in the UK.

This book, for example, seems promising, but the fact that it's from the US is off putting to me. I really would like an up to date book written by a person based in the UK that focuses on gut health, natural ingredients, and a lot of plant based food, although it doesn't need to be necessarily so, I am not vegetarian. Most importantly, I need to be able to buy the ingredients from your every day supermarkets.

I'd be really grateful for any recommendations. Thanks so much.

Leon do a range of recipe books that are quite good - they have a healthy guts one, a salad one and a veggie one.

The lean for life books by Louise Parker are good - lots of nice salad and dressings. Madeline Shaw is similar (ready set glow or something).

There’s often lots of 99p recipe books on kindle so you can get recipes on an iPad or phone. Charity shops are good too, or they sometimes have offers in The Works.
