Epidemic

I think there is an epidemic of people who have "unacceptable" views now. They know that if they say what they think, they will be labelled as far right and a conspiracy theorist or terf by their families. I know I pause certain videos when my kids join me and watch something more "acceptable".

I'm not far right, or right at all. I have a gay son and want everyone to live a nice life. I feel bad though even if I watch something sensible. My kids are all I have and I would never alienate them.

I see things like a husband has gone down a rabbit hole and the wife is encouraged to divorce him because he has gone all tin foil. There are some people who can't live with the cognitive dissonance.

The first time I even talked to my sister about the trans thing it devolved into an argument where she demanded sources and waffled on about clownfish. She had obviously already been steeped in an idiology. Twitter addict.
