Doonas, are they worth it?

Expecting DC2 and thinking of getting one this time but the price is putting me off. It would only be used for school runs/popping round the shops etc. then I have a Joie buggy already for when baby is a few months older.

I don't really want a full travel system this time around, as it takes up a lot of space and last time around ended up selling mine and getting a buggy.

Should I get the Doona?

I think they encourage parents to keep babies in a car seat for longer than is safe so I wouldn’t get one for this reason.

Can you get a 0+ stroller? Somewhere for the baby to lie flat. Personally, I’ve been happy with my travel systems but can see why others wouldn’t be.
