Need help where to buy a headboard for a single bed that's not £150 +...

Any advice would be appreciated..
Have a single bed in a spare room with no headboard (room not used), someone will be staying soon for about 6 months so I want to buy a single size headboard, but don't want to pay a fortune.
I have NEXT account, wayfair etc and it's all saying £180+
I just need something cheap & cheerful to do the job...

any suggestions?

Thank you....

Would you consider second hand? British Heart Foundation sometimes have them.
I bought a great one from an Etsy seller which was double and around £90 so try there?

Am sure you could pick one up for less then 50 in a local unbranded independent bed shop.

I just bought 3 from Amazon for £32 each. There’s loads of choice

Try asking for one on Freecycle

I made one once! I used an old piece of mdf and some wadding and covered it with fabric which I staple gunned at the back. It looked great.

I agree with pp to make one! Plywood or mdf painted, covered with fabric, wouldn't even need to be attached to bed or wall - just held upright between them.

Nice big cushion say a metre square is a good alternative, ikea def sell them, I'm assuming about 20 quid?
