My day consisted of popping to do a bit of shopping for things we need and lunchbox supplies... that's optimistic considering my 2 youngest are a bit under the weather and may not be attending school tomorrow (oh the joy) I'm defrosting some mince to do a home made spag bol when my eldest comes home from her dad's in about an hour. And I'm cracking on with pairing the socks and sorting pants before hanging up the clean washing (I don't iron it before going in as I like it freshly ironed before being worn) then when the spag bol will be simmering I will be doing bath time for my 3, serving food then shipping them to bed with regular nightly interruptions of mum I want this, or mum bla bla bla. Somewhere in all of this I have washed dishes, fed pets, put washes in the machine and dryer. Doled out calpol and doom scrolled on my phone from the peace and quiet of the loo. I'm down a husband this week as he had a serious operation on his ear this week so essentially I'm running the household, caring for 3 kids and a really crap patient. (Who will be out of action for about 3 weeks) is anyone else's Sunday routine hectic or anyone else going off the rails today?? 😆
