BIRMINGHAM, recommendationd on nice spa hotel near Millenium point

I have an overnight stay in Birmingham soon. This is what I'd like to do:

Has to be in city as going on train.

Hotel with spa
So I can spend half a day in the pool, suana and maybe book a treatment.

Evening just want room service or may order in, so I can chill and relax

Need to be near or at least walking distance to the Millenium Point Building as next day have a 9am meeting

Anyone recommend?

Park Regis looks nice but no pool

I find Birmingham a difficult city for hotels.

The Hyatt Regency has a nice spa and pool but is the wrong side of the city for Millenium Point.

The Cube also has a pool/spa but is similarly on the other side of the city.

Depends what you consider walking distance. The spa at the Cube is lovely. Maybe a 25 min walk, and quite straightforward though shops etc.
Thinking about it now, it's very strange that there isn't something similar closer to millennium Point

Im thinking I could get a taxi from suitable hotel on other side to MP

I stayed at the Hyatt last year when I went to the Conservatoire by Millennium Point, nice pool and spa treatments plus great views. I got on the metro at Centenary Square just outside the hotel and off at Corporation Street, then it was about a 5-10 minute walk to Millennium Point.
