How to make my legs look better

My legs have spots like this. I shower daily at least, regularly exfoliate, use a good quality razor and shaving foam to shave but they're still like this. Any ideas please?

If they are blocked hair follicles they would be helped with laser hair removal if your hair isn't too light coloured?

Spinachandkale · 17/09/2023 11:44

@sallytarific thank you but I can't afford that at the moment.

Try this: www.lookfantastic.com/ameliorate-transforming-body-lotion/13752193.html

It's made for bumps on arms and legs.

Imagine you were driving carelessly and lost both of your legs in an accident.

You're now stuck on a wheelchair and you have no spare cash to pay for a special car and an assistant. You can't even wash yourself thoroughly.

Or that your legs are excessively skinny. It's not a problem being a woman but you sometimes need rather more muscles than less when life gets hard and you're alone.

I don't know, what do you want to hear?

Scruffington · 18/09/2023 13:14

try wiping some glycolic acid on your legs.

Nuca · 18/09/2023 13:39

@AlrightThen What has that got to do with OP having spots on her legs?

I’m not an expert but I’m going to take a wild guess because……..why not?

I’m imagining OP wants to hear “well when my legs looked like this I did this and that, applied this cream, that powder”.

What do you reckon?

isthismylifenow · 18/09/2023 13:53

I would try a cream for keratosis OP. Avene does/did one called Akerat.

I used it for its purpose, but it really helped with all the other little bumps as well.

readingismycardio · 18/09/2023 14:12

Glycolic acid! The one from the ordinary is cheap as chips and works wonders!

AlrightThen · 18/09/2023 15:39

@GoingToBeLessRubbishAtLife

I reckon you may be right because my peace making side is still going strong.

@GalileoHumpkins

I was driving on a narrow road the other day. My mother told me off for the slow speed, I declined.

How am I a dick?

ShipSpace · 18/09/2023 16:36

There’s always one!

Agree with some of the previous suggestions though, OP.

Spinachandkale · 18/09/2023 19:43

@AlrightThen why did you bother commenting? Strange behaviour.

amicissimma · 18/09/2023 19:57

I keep these at bay by scrubbing my legs (gently, but vigorously, ie, not hard) with a brush like a back brush, or a loofah.

After a few weeks you'll have the skin of a 6-year-old. Well, almost!

Imagine you were reading a thread on mumsnet titled, ‘How to make my legs look better’ and you went off on a tangent about losing your legs or having skinny legs (wtf) and then finished by asking op what they want to hear. Imagine!
