What do I want for my 40th birthday present?

I mean obviously you don't know what I want but I'm hoping you can share some ideas!

Both my husband and mum are asking what I want for my big present and I really don't know. I told my mum I wanted some crocs and she said that wasn't a good enough 40th gift.

I don't wear much jewellery, I already have an air wrap, kenwood k mix, bread maker, coffee machine, ninja foodi thing, decent hoover (!), my favourite perfume and associated body lotion and wash, Apple Watch, GHDs (although these are 10+ years old so that might be an idea) - just trying to think of things that people might suggest.

I might quite like a good pair of knee high boots but I have massive calves so it's a bit limited.

Any ideas what I could ask for?! I'm veering away from restaurant vouchers or experiences as I have two young children so time away is tricky. Oh and I'm already going on a spa day in November (present from best friend).

New handbag, or overnight bag.

A beautiful kimono/dressing gown.

Something like a sewing machine? Or something to get you started in a new hobby.

A great coat.

Something you wouldn’t normally spend on yourself - a cashmere jumper or scarf? Really high thread count sheets? Monthly flower subscription? Really good booze or chocolate?

A party instead of a gift?

Your mum to have your kids overnight and theatre tickets / a hotel overnight form your husband?

Vouchers to get your hair / nails / a pedicure done? An hour or two looking after yourself might be welcome!

Oooh I would go for a new designer posh bag and a lush pair of boots for the winter Grin

I've just bought some winter wedge Ugg boots ready but am eyeing up a couple of nice bags
