What's your favourite time of day

I like 1am-2am, I specifically used to like going running at this time. Or walking home early morning, 5am, before most people are up and out. There's this nice hush over everything. Just a milk float (going back in time there) and the world starting to stir.

I like when the place is asleep, I used to love going into the City of London after a certain time or on a weekend when it seemed completely empty. It could feel like you were the only person there.

My DH does know and encourages it. I am a SAHM now as I am medically retired. My two hour rest/nap helps me get through the day.

You really didn't need to explain yourself Flowers

You didn't need to explain yourself to that judgemental one!!

I was making conversation. Going back to bed most days is an odd thing to do, if no disabilities etc.

No it's not. She might get up very early or be up in the night. You have no idea what the situation is. So judgey!

AtrociousCircumstance · 17/09/2023 10:31

@Anoushkaka You shouldn’t have to defend yourself - your 11am sounds wonderful.

@YapYap2023 What appeared to be a nice idea for a thread was immediately turned over by your judgemental response to Anoushkaka. Obviously her reply pressed some buttons for you so maybe think about resolving your own issues before lashing out.

YapYap2023 · 17/09/2023 09:58

Running at 2am isn't odd at all. It's the perfect time for running. Unfortunately I can't do it now, I have to stick to daylight hours because we live near a national park and there can be wild boars out at night.

Running at 2am really is a little odd...

YapYap2023 · 17/09/2023 11:13

It really isn't...

Hobnobswantshernameback · 17/09/2023 11:18

Maybe you should take a nap OP.
Might improve your humour

It really isn't...

It really is . . . hence why it's so quiet. Everybody else is in bed sleeping!

Going for a run at 1am is an odd thing to do!

I mean even science says it's not the right time to exercise if nothing else.

YapYap2023 · 17/09/2023 09:10

Does your dp/dh/w know you do that?

What do they think about you doing that?

My favourite time of day is when everything is done dusted and we are chilling with a bit of TV before bed.

I don't work, I nap, swan around some days, but do everything that the house/family need

And yes my H knows, I do what I want and he doesn't mind. He likes it actually.

Polis · 17/09/2023 12:13

Going for a run at 1am is an odd thing to do!

The other day we were driving back from the airport in the middle of the night and passed a woman running. Middle of nowhere on a single track road.

Anoushkaka · 17/09/2023 09:06

11am, I'm a SAHM so once I get the kids to school, clean the house and have dinner prepped I get back into bed for a couple of hours and either read or have a little nap.

Good for you 👍

Op ..you're very judgemental ...

YapYap2023 · 17/09/2023 12:16

I am judgemental, so what?

I judge people that go to the supermarket in their pyjamas, I judge people for loads of things.

So what?

TurqoiseJasper · 17/09/2023 12:19

@Anoushkaka Fabulous! You do whatever you bloody want.
My favourite time of the day is any time I'm asleep and not in pain!
I love nothing more than getting up, feeding my sausages and then crawling back into bed with a cup of tea for just a little bit more snoozing and cuddles.
Luckily most days I can. I am the boss of me!

@YapYap2023
Most people are not accountable to their husbands/partners as to how they spend their days. Judgemental much?Angry

Well I think one day you will be judged on having a shitty attitude, and you will be found lacking.

ArseInTheCoOpWindow · 17/09/2023 12:25

What do they thinking about you doing this?

Why can't she nap whenever she wants? Only those with disabilities are allowed that? More so, why does she need permission from her partner to do what she wants in her free time? Your comment is really stupid, sorry to say.

Fahhgedaboutit · 17/09/2023 13:39

7-10pm ish- when both kids are in bed and DH and I can watch tv, eat a hot dinner and just relax knowing they’re both safe and asleep and we can have our time.
