Anyone Stopped HRT & Felt Better?

Put this here as the menopause board always seems quiet. I have been getting nasty headaches & wondered if they’re hormone related. A doc gave me nasal spray but I’m not convinced it’s sinus related, although I am prone to sinusitis.
A couple of friends have suggested I come off HRT & I will look into that with my GP but I just wondered if anyone has stopped it & felt better?

When I was first on hrt, it made my migraines worse and I generally felt off it for two weeks out of the month. I was only offered tablets, two different types and strengths. The last lot made me feel awful so I gave up.
Symptoms came back and put up with them for ages. I eventually went back to the doctors and was given oestrogen gel and daily Utrogestan tablets. This works far better for me.

Yes, me! I was getting headaches and nausea daily. Came off oestrogen and headaches have reduced. But then hot flushes and night waking is back. Have been prescribed a much lower lose of HRT but not going to try that until I feel desperate. I just want my oestrogen levels to reduce some more. Headaches are a symptom of too much oestrogen.

Let us know if you come off it & feel any better or worse.

Oooohhhhhhhh. Headaches eh?
I've been blaming sinuses and teeth. Even had an eye test to rule that out.

@RabbitsRock have you stopped HRT and felt better?
I'm struggling with constant daily headaches, been told it's tension headaches, but I'm wondering if its related to the HRT
