I've just seen two threads at the top of my active list:

How old are you

&

Find your birthday twin.

If you've posted honestly on both of those, someone, anyone, knows your date of birth.

A trawl of the previous posts of all those that posted on both threads could then throw up other info that could possibly be used.

Fuck knows how but don't answer questions like that honestly, or at all.

It's like those meme things that ask you to post the name of your first pet.

Those two threads practically next to each other in the list just made me suspicious.

It was a while ago now & I can’t remember who the poster was, but she challenged people to see how much they could find out about her from her past posts.

By putting things together & making a couple of informed guesses from that, I found which school her kids went to, what classes they were in and her Pinterest account with pics of her front door & her DD’s bedroom, & that was just me - there were plenty of others who also took up the challenge. I didn’t share those publicly, obviously.

I think she was fairly shocked.
