Do you ‘Accept Cookies’ or ‘ Reject Cookies’ ?

Sorry, not talking about biscuits, but websites. I always accept them, but a friend rejects them. What do people do, and what’s the benefit, if any, of accepting them, or why do people reject them?

@yagni thanks for that, definitely do the single sign up from now on. And I do already use password manager so got something right at least😆

Stripeypyjamas · 17/09/2023 09:44

I can't remember the password to my password manager 🤦‍♀️

It's called "I don't care about cookies" but tbh the latest change messed it up, there is probably a more up to date one, try searching for cookies in the extensions store.

BertieBotts · 17/09/2023 09:46

A cookie cannot automatically get your email address, a company can only get your email address if you give it to them, if you posted it publicly somewhere and they got it from that, if it was included in a list of leaked passwords/emails or if they are just brute forcing random letter combos (or common name combos)
