Hi All- has anyone done a eurocamp holiday in a warmer region of France? If so, can you recommend a camp? And how did you travel there? Many thanks all

This year we did Domaine de La Rive. We stopped at Futuroscope for 2 nights on the way down, but we did the drive all in one day on the way back (to the ferry terminal at St Malo). I loved how much there was for the dc to do onsite and loved being by the lake but also not too far from the coast. There was an English family in the caravan next door and they flew to Bordeaux and hired a car from there.

I've done a few camps in the Languedoc area of South of France, and its beautiful.

There's a great camp called Club Farret in Vias, it's big and lively though, so if you want somewhere quiet this won't be for you.

We always drive from Calais with a stopover halfway. The drive is so easy too.

Join Unofficial Eurocamp Supporters club on Facebook, there so much info on there.

Second La Rive, we were there in august too. One day hit 40degrees!
But then it broke and we had a big drop in temps which made it nicer to do other activities. It's a great site.
Le vieux port is also supposed to be an excellent site.
