Anyone know about making a time capsule/storing papers for decades?

Not strictly a 'time capsule' but I really want to start making diaries/writing cards for my DD after my dad died just over a year ago and I wish I had more personal stuff from him.

I'm worried though in 40-50 years (as I hope I don't go too early!!) anything can happen and paper can get damp, eaten by rats, ink fades etc but equally I don't want to keep it all digital because what if it gets deleted, can't be read anymore, the cloud stops being a thing etc. Especially as I want to keep recording regular memories so it's not like I can do one card and put it in a sealed box. What's the best way to keep writing/printing and still have it ok in a few decades? Eg, do I need special paper/ink?
