I slipped on ice and broke bones a few years ago and I've been scared of bad shoes ever since (even when it's good weather). The ones I have at the moment are hideous though and I'd love to find a pair of nice looking shoes that have good soles. Sketchers had some pairs I'd be happy to wear but I've heard people say their soles aren't great. I'd be wearing them with black trousers so they don't have to be fabulous looking, just not too chunky or weird looking. What shops even sell shoes these days? I won't manage to send anything back if I order by mail so that's probably out (health issues). I need to go to a shop.
